Phase 2 of Restore the Shore proposes the removal or modification of 850 metres of the training berm. Jan to April 2022 saw the removal of 300 metres.
Modification of the remaining 550 is completed may 2023.
After federal Transport Canada Navigable Waters and provincial Water Sustainability Act and Wildlife Act approvals were issued in January 2022, the project team started the modification of the first 300 metres of the southern-most portion of the training berm.
